JobVantage has been shortlisted in two categories at the British Recruitment Awards 2026: Innovation of the Year and AI in Recruitment Initiative of the Year. The finalists have been announced by New Possible, and the winners will be named on 12 November 2026 at the Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, London.

The two categories, and why this pair

The two shortlistings describe the same product from two angles.

Innovation of the Year is about building something the industry did not have. JobVantage is an AI job and candidate mapping platform for recruitment agencies: put in a candidate and get back the live roles and employers they genuinely fit, ranked, with the reasoning written out, the decision-makers at each company identified, and the speccing outreach ready to go. It works in both directions, job to candidate as well as candidate to job, and it runs as an overlay on top of any existing ATS or CRM rather than asking an agency to migrate anything.

AI in Recruitment Initiative of the Year is about applying AI where it actually earns its keep. Plenty of recruitment tools have added AI at the edges: a drafting assistant here, a summariser there. We put it at the centre of the hardest problem the industry has, which is match quality. Every recruiter has seen keyword matching call a candidate a fit because the right words appeared in the wrong context. Getting a shortlist a recruiter would genuinely send to a client, and being able to say why each name is on it, is the problem the whole product is built around. In partner testing that approach produced shortlists 24x faster than manual screening.

What being a finalist means, and what it does not

A shortlisting is recognition of the direction, not a finish line. Match quality is a problem you keep earning rather than solve once, and most of our roadmap is still ahead of us. But two shortlistings in the same year, one for innovation and one for AI in recruitment, is a useful marker that the direction is the right one.

Congratulations to the other finalists, and thanks to the team at New Possible for organising the awards. The full finalist list is on the New Possible site.
